For a beautiful and healthy lawn we recommend a year round treatment with our multi step program. We tailor each program to the needs of the individual lawn based on the type of grass, current health of the lawn, and soil samples if needed. We begin our program in late-winter to early spring. In addition to fertilization, seeding and aeration are affordable options to thickening your lawn and promoting healthy root systems. Late summer and fall are the optimal times to aerate and seed your lawn as the temperatures are usually cooler and you will not have the complications of dealing with weeds as you would in the spring. This will also allow the use of a pre-emergent in the spring to prevent unwanted weeds and crabgrass. We utilize top quality certified seed for all applications.
This service is usually done concurrently with our mowing service. Our top quality mowers remove leaves cleanly from the lawn while completing the last few mowings of the season. In our area, the last mowing of the year typically will be Nov 1. As leaves continue to fall, we will continue to visit your property with our mowing or leaf vacuum to continue to keep your lawn and mulch beds free of leaves before winter.
